What Area do you cover?
Majik House primarily covers the North West area of England, from the Scottish Border down to Chester. There have also been completed projects in the North East and Isle of Man. We can provide detailed designs and installation plans for projects all over the world; we have done this with some of our international clients.
How much will my project cost?
Each project we specify is a bespoke design and installation, therefore the costings for each project are bespoke. For example, a home cinema can range anywhere between £5000 and £100,000+ dependant on the clients level of specification
How long have you been in business?
Majik House was founded in 1998 by our directors Tim and Carol Burrow. We are one of the longest running Smart Home Technology companies in the UK. This year we will be celebrating our 23rd Birthday!
How big does my project need to be?
We provide expert design and installation for a wide range of properties; nothing is too big or too small. From one room solutions to full house automation.

What guarantees do you provide with the systems/product you install?
All products we install in your property come with at least a 2-year manufacture guarantee. We thoroughly test every product we install before we incorporate it into a design. Either in one of our showrooms or at home. We only ever install equipment that we believe is the most reliable on the market and where the manufacturer provides excellent support.
When should I contact you?
The sooner we get involved in your project the better, especially on new build projects. We need to specify location and specifications of wiring and we need to be an integral part of the design process where appropriate.
Can you install our network system?
Providing secure and reliable network systems is the backbone to everything we do at Majik House. Think of your internal network as the nervous system of your home, when it works correctly, everything performs perfectly. Can you solve system problems remotely?
For the majority of issues that may arise with your system (such as updates or power cuts) one of our expert programmers can login to your property remotely and fix the problem. For problems that can’t be resolved in this way, one of our engineers can visit your home to solve the issue
Do you offer a support service when the project is complete?
We offer all our clients one full year of support for free, starting on the date of your project’s completion. We then have a variety of support options available to suit. Can I come and visit you?
Absolutely, we have multiple locations throughout the North West for you to come and visit us. we have showroom facilities at Preston and Carlisle, plus our SmartHotel ‘Absoluxe’ in Kirkby Lonsdale that is open for guests to stay and experience living with Smart Technology for 24hrs. Finally, you can also visit us at our main office in Kearstwick, Kirkby Lonsdale.
