The Brief:

The clients approached the team at Majik House to design and create a state-of-the-art Home Cinema System for their family home in the Wirral. The room had previously been used as a games room. That had been initially designed for the children. However, now teenagers, the room required a new lease of life! Focus was to be placed upon the very best in picture quality, dynamic audio and initiative lighting design. The space was also to be used as an entertainment area, with bar and seating available for guests. the space as a whole need to have the WOW factor, as well as being simple and easy to use.

The Solution:

Majik House provided the complete design, project management and installation of the project. The Wirral home cinema boasts a 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos sound system, using KEF’s Extreme Home Theatre Speakers and Arcam FMJ Series Amplifiers, certified to THX Ultra2 and Select2 standards. The projector used is a JVC 4K DILA to guarantee the very best in picture quality. The whole room is effortlessly controlled by our integration system of choice, Control4. Which we specify for its customisation options, bespoke customer interface and flawless reliability

Movie Majik
Having worked previously with Majik House on a much smaller project, we felt confident that they would be able to deliver spectacularly on our whole house refurb. They took on-board our ethos of having a high tech home which incorporates and reflects minimalistic design. Everything can be controlled by simple clicks either from within the home or away. Our rural setting means we wanted to bring the outside in and vice versa; through working with Majik House, we can preset our lighting to our own personalised configurations for different times of the day.
