Our client approached Majik House looking to recreate the same sense of impact we had delivered at his holiday home in the Lake District, this time within his primary residence in Nottingham. The ambition was clear: introduce a true “wow factor” while complementing the property’s contemporary architecture.

Throughout the home, a whole-house lighting system powered by Lutron provides intuitive, seamless control of every environment. From soft, ambient evening settings to brighter, functional scenes, each space has been carefully considered to balance aesthetics with usability.
In the kitchen, a bespoke lighting scheme features interchangeable scenes tailored to different moments; whether cooking, entertaining, or relaxing it allows the space to transform effortlessly throughout the day.
Automated Lutron shades and blinds are fully integrated into the lighting design, working in harmony to manage natural light, privacy, and energy efficiency at the touch of a button.
Beyond lighting, the property benefits from full AV distribution, including discreet audio in bathrooms, ensuring a consistent and immersive experience throughout the home. High-performance 4K video is available across multiple rooms, while a whole-house music system provides rich, synchronised audio wherever it’s needed.
All systems are unified through Control4, giving the homeowner simple, centralised control of lighting, audio, video, and shading from a single interface.
