Client Journey – Mr & Mrs Timmins

At Majik House, our end goal in every project is to deliver a smart-home above and beyond the expectations of the client. We recently completed a whole-house project in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The homeowners were kind enough to document their client journey for us.

We contacted Majik House following a referral from a contractor who was working on our farmhouse renovation. Together we had planned to create a cinema style family room, for us and our young children to relax in. We were unsure exactly what equipment we needed. So, we went to see Jit and Tim at Majik House.

They welcomed us into their impressive showroom and demonstrated the ‘art of the possible’. Following this they looked through our renovation plans and arranged a site visit. We met again a couple of weeks later and they presented us with a solution to our Cinema room. This matched our brief exactly and we were delighted with the choice of equipment. What caught us by surprise was that the conversation quickly turned to lighting and house automation through Control4. This wasn’t something we had planned and was completely out of budget. Our initial reaction was a ‘no’ – after all how could we warrant spending that much on lighting. Was it really that important?

After another visit to the showroom and hours of careful consideration. We agreed that lighting was important and we should go back through the plans and look at the Control4 system in more detail. We worked with Majik House to amend their initial proposal to fit our needs then went ahead.

After Completion

Having now lived in our renovated property for over a year. We can confirm that this was the best decision we made. Lighting is so much more important than we had envisaged. Control4 works like a dream and we are able to set individual scenes for each room. The Cinema room has been transformational and we are delighted with the home automation.

Majik House have been simply superb and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Jit has been amazing throughout the process and has always listened to our needs and requirements. The knowledge of the team is exceptional. We found everyone who worked on our home both respectful and helpful.

We are absolutely delighted with the service and quality we received from Majik House. They have changed our home for the better and for that we are eternally grateful.
