THE BRIEF:

The clients approached the team at Majik House to design and create a state-of-the-art Home Cinema System for their family home in the Wirral’s leafy suburbs. Focus was to be placed upon the very best in picture quality, dynamic audio and initiative lighting design. However, the space was also to be used as the families entertainment area. With drinks bar and ample seating available for guests. The room as a whole needed to have the WOW factor. As well as being simple and easy to use. The space had previously been used as a games room for the children. However, now teenagers, the room required a new lease of life!

THE SOLUTION:

Majik House provided the complete design, project management and installation of the cinema project. The cinema boasts a 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos sound system, using KEF’s Extreme Home Theatre Speakers. Arcam FMJ Series Amplifiers, certified to THX Ultra2 and Select2 standards. The projector used was a JVC 4K DILA, to guarantee the very best in 4K picture quality. Perfect for family film night or streaming the latest sporting events.

In addition, black out blinds were used to intensify the visual quality on the screen. Provided by QMotion and integrated into the control system.

In conclusion, the whole room is effortlessly controlled by our integration system of choice, Control4. Which we specify for its customisation options, bespoke customer interface and flawless reliability.

For the custom bar area, we worked alongside Holliana Interiors, with Furniture provided by Palladio.
