Cumbria Community Foundation – Social Corporate Responsibility

Majik House are incredibly proud to have become a corporate member of the Cumbria Community Foundation. Fulfilling our Corporate Responsibility with a local charity that we are honoured to support.

The Foundation exists to support disadvantaged individuals. By making life-changing grants and being on the front line to respond to emergency needs. Having also managed 4 major disaster appeals. Including the 2015 floods caused by Storm Desmond.

They provide support services to individuals, families and organisations. By managing 90 grant making funds, supporting more than 500 community projects per year. Since 1999, they have invested more than £44m into almost 4,000 groups across Cumbria.

The charity is one of the UK’s leading foundations. Because they have the expertise and local knowledge to help individuals, companies and charitable trusts invest in the communities. Improving the lives of those who need a helping hand.

Majik House appreciate the opportunity to give back to a community. That has been our home for 21 years. With the hope to work with the foundation on many future projects. Including our annual ‘Secret Santa’ Food Drive. To provide an array of goods to the Kendal Food Bank to help get them through the busy Christmas period.
