Introducing House of Carvetii
The start of the New Year also heralds the beginning of a new and very exciting chapter for Majik House as we launch a partnership between ourselves and two of the foremost and highly regarded design-led businesses in the North West.
House of Carvetii is a unique collaboration between ourselves and Carvetii Town & Country Interiors and KQC Flooring Specialists.

Founded in 1997 by Roy Sweetman, Carvetii Town & Country Interiors has grown to become something of a byword across the north of England for beautiful bespoke interiors. Roy and his designers Mel and Nadia are responsible for creating stunning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces for their discerning clients.
Beyond having the creative flair to imagine these wonderful spaces, the Carvetii Interiors team also comprises the means to make dreams a reality thanks to the craftsmanship of the team in their workshop in the South Lakes.
The manufacturing team tasked with turning these designs into reality are directed by Tony Wright, with the carpentry and cabinetry testament to the abilities of these true artisans.
KQC Flooring Specialists was established in 1990 in Kendal on the edge of the Lake District and has grown in stature and reputation to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading flooring specialists.
Under the guidance of the second generation of the Greenall family running the business, James and Josh are making great strides with KQC. Along with their Kendal premises, in 2023 they opened a second showroom in Knutsford, Cheshire, from where their client base and reputation continues its ascendency with a number of celebrity clients including Abbey Clancy.
Autumn continues: “Just like Majik House, KQC really are the specialists in their field; the knowledge, range of products and quality of installation makes them absolute experts in all things flooring – luxurious carpets and bespoke rugs, striking stair runners and exquisite wood floors.”
The focus for Majik House and the partners over recent months has been the creation of House of Carvetii itself. More than just a showroom, this is a stunning space at Gatebeck near Kendal where clients can appreciate for themselves the unique offering of these three businesses, be inspired and discover the potential for their own homes.
“We’re welcoming clients to House of Carvetii on an appointment only basis as we want our visitors to feel they have our sole attention and focus – whilst you’re here, it’s all about you and your dreams for your home.”
“It’s been over three years since Majik House last had a showroom space to welcome clients and we always said that our next space had to be streets ahead of what we’d had previously, and House of Carvetii certainly hits that expectation.”
At time of writing, the final touches are still being made to House of Carvetii with the official launch scheduled for late spring 2025.
So Much More Than Just a ‘One Stop Shop’
The response from clients and associates since the ‘soft launch’ of House of Carvetii at the start of 2025 has been incredibly positive. Understandably they appreciate the benefit of having the three partner businesses represented in one location, but they also welcome the potential for a combined, cohesive approach to their projects.

Along with private clients, House of Carvetii will also build on the positive working relationships each business has developed with associates and partners including some of the north’s leading architects and interior designers.
